What Is the Venue Agreement?

Before placing the station at a venue, it's important to ensure that all the necessary paperwork is in place. This includes getting the venue agreement signed. The venue agreement outlines the terms and conditions of the partnership between Brick and the venue, ensuring a clear understanding of responsibilities and expectations.

Why do we have a venue agreement? There are several reasons why:
- Making the partnership official: you are now in business together
- Accountability: there are terms and conditions that both parties need to fulfill
- Exclusivity: no competitor can place a station with a signed Brick agreement

Before we created the venue agreement,  we had a few venue partners who decided to part ways with us out of the blue, with little or no notice. We quickly realized the importance of having a more official relationship with our venues. We wanted them to know that we're fully committed to them and providing a value-added service that should be taken seriously. And so, the venue agreement came to life! Since then, it has been our trusty tool for maintaining successful partnerships

The venue agreement reinforces the commitment and investment of Brick in the venue. It communicates to the venue that Brick takes the partnership seriously and is dedicated to providing a valuable service. It establishes a professional image for Brick and helps to build trust and credibility with the venues.

What are the key contents of the venue agreement?
- The venue partner is not responsible for damages to the stations
- The Brick Partner sends new power banks as needed or requested to ensure people can use the service
- The Brick Partner will replace a broken station
- The station is cleaned by the venue partner as needed
- The station is placed at a visible and reachable location for users

Brick has the exclusive right to operate at the venue, meaning no power bank-sharing competitor can collaborate with the venue
As a Brick Market Operator or Network Partner, we recommend you amend the agreement to make sure it is compliant with the local rules and regulations and to work with the terms you are offering.
